Waterbirds returning home to roost at sunset in the Keoladeo-Ghana world heritage area at Bharatpur, near Agra. The wetlands were artificially created in the days of the Raj as a hunting attraction, and plaques celebrate the slaughter of apalling numbers of birds on the occasions of visits by British royalty or military VIPs.
